Whats the One Thing Any New Business Needs To Know

What is the most important thing any new offline or online business needs to know well or needs to know they need to find someone that knows it well, in order to get ahead of the millions of others?

There are a lot of things you need to get right with any new business but if I was to say one thing above all else it would be marketing. 

Without marketing and all that it entails your business would fizzle out of existence. Good marketing can make or break your brand and ultimately it is everything regardless of what your selling is rubbish or not. Good marketing will get buyers through the door.
